I suppose since I’m the only girl on this team of blokes, you’ll want to know abit about me!
I suppose you could say I was a little mad for agreeing to this amazing adventure to drive all the way to Mongolia to raise money for such an amazing charity. Especially when the ok came through for me to join the team, there were 47 days left before we go. I’m nervous and excited, and I can’t wait.
I think it took me about 30 seconds to make the decision, but how could I not say yes to this amazing challenge.

I work in Lattetude Cafe in West Kirby, the town where I live with my awesome husband and two cats. Luckily it’s a family run busines and my Mum is the boss, so when I asked her for some time off to go to Mongolia in 6 weeks it wasn’t a problem. Mum and Dad have been great, really getting behind the cause asking suppliers for sponsorship and all the customers too. We’ve already started getting the rest of the businesses in West Kirby involved too. So hopefully we’ll have the whole town behind us!

In my spare time I do Taekwon Do, I’ve got a third Dan blackbelt. I think that the challenges of doing a martial art at that level, and the amazing support from my instructor, Master Woods, has given my the courage to take on this amazing challenge.

I can’t wait to get on the road, though I am a little nervous about some fo the driving. I know this will be amazing, so much fun, and the huge amount of money we’re raising makes it so worthwhile.
